Spring Break went way too fast last week!! The first weekend Tyler took me to Indy to spend time together and get away! It was very relaxing & we had a great time just being with eachother. We went to Howl at the Moon and I loved it there! I can't way to go with all my friends! The rest of the week consisted of cleaning the apartment, laundry, working, and I even cleaned the closets.
The weekend after spring break wasn't a very happy one. The family dog, Sammy, and the one my dad became very close to when he was sick got hit by a car & died Friday night. Luckily, Brian was home with mom when it happened. Tyler & Brian digged a hole in the backyard, so Dylan would be able to bury him. Saturday morning the Hatchets lost in their first game =( I also learned of Andrea developing pneumonia & her cancer spreading. Although, I don't know her personally her story is amazing. She was always so positive & full of spirit. I have the priviliege of watching Ethan at the daycare & he will continue to be strong-willed like his mother. My prayers are with all the family & friends as I know it is hard here on Earth, but we know they are rejoicing in Heaven. Looking at how young Ethan is, it makes me realize that I should be grateful for the 19 years I got to spend with my dad. I still miss him everyday & for some reason has really bothered me the last few months. But thankfully, I have a loving family & friends beside me.
Tyler & I have been looking at houses, and it is pretty fun to look at all the different houses. He went to the bank this week to get pre-approved(fingers crossed). We have a house that we are defiently interested in, but its a little more than we wanted to spend, but we will see ;) It is beautiful on the inside.
Other than that, the rest of the semester is going to be very busy & I can feel that I'm getting stressed already! Luckily the weather has been amazing this week! =)

Spring Fever
Its been along time since I have posted on here. January came and went so fast. I finally turned 21 and even though everyone was snowed in for my birthday I still ended up having a good evening! I had so much fun when Tyler, Brandon, Megan, Jessie, Clay, and I were in French Lick! The next night my mom and her friends came and we had a blast! This semester my classes seem to be more time consuming and harder! Our classes are full, because we have a lot f people who are in some classes but not all and a lot of new people. I have made some great new friends from school and we were all able to go out last weekend. We defiently all had something to talk about on Monday;)....Midterms are next week and I'm just dreading them. We have a class where she only has a midterm and final. Her worksheets are hard, so I can only imagine the midterm! Tyler & I have been looking around at houses, and will look at some more tomorrow morning. It's really exciting, fun, and stressful. Tyler doesn't seem to be as considered about the financial stuff as I am. My name won't even be on anything, but I want him to be as knowledgeable as he can be on purchasing a house. I keep printing off information about loans and what to look for, etc. I don't know if he really reads them or not, lol....It will be nice to be able to paint what we want, have a yard, washer/dryer, and more space! I'm defiently ready for spring and summer! I'm ready to walk around outside!

Time to Relax..
Christmas is always such a busy time, but well worth it! Tyler defiently spoiled me with my promise ring, 2 James Patterson Books, Mutiple Blessings(Jon and Kate Plus 8) Book, perfume, Party Games for Wii, money to do some shopping & my car payment! I got him his wii, wallet, coffee mug that keeps drinks hot or cold, and tons of candy! Our Christmas started out with my moms side on the 21st. Its always such a great time. I loved watching Jase and Alexis get soo excited about their presents! My favorite part of Christmas is watching the kids & giving people presents! Tyler always says I go overboard on everybody, but its my favorite! I will admit we went overboard on Jase but he loved everything! It was great time, we had wonderful food and that night we had pizza and played games. Its always sad when everyone has to leave. Christmas Eve we went to Tylers family Christmas and had some amazing food!! We are never around his family so its nice when we are, so I can get to know them. Im always on to him about going and visiting his Grandpa and other family members. He doesnt realize how lucky he is to have met his Grandpa, I wasn't able to meet either of mine. Christmas morning was spent at his Dads and my moms. I was able to open presents at both places and was just fine until my stomach started to hurt! It was the worst pain ever and I ended up having the flu=( Luckily it was only 24 hours! However, I had a wonderful Christmas and am very grateful for all my gifts and the time we were able to spend with our families!

Taking a break to blog..
Well its already finals week, and I have 6 of them! That's the most I have had since I've been at VU! I've been lucky with some classes not having finals, but this semester all of them have a final! I also still have to work on my Assitive Technology Portfolio! The sad part is Tyler took an IDA day today, and I can't even spend too much time with him, because I'll be studying=( It is nice just to have him home though. Friday night I was able to spend a little time with Alexis. I picked her up, and she was in love my Christmas tree and presents! She just couldn't believe it, and she wanted to open the presents of course! I told her she couldn't open them until we all were together next week and she told me thank you already and she hasn't even opened them! She's too sweet! We stood outside of my apartment with Cody waiting on Jake to go by in the parade, but of course I missed him because Alexis needed to pee! haha! But Alexis loved getting the parade candy and then we went to sit on Santas lap! She loved him, and she told him she wanted sparkly lipgloss...and her picture should be really cute! I took her to McDonalds because she said she was hungry, and she ate everything! It was sad taking her home, and I know it has to be sad for Pam and Katie not living in town anymore.
This will be the second Christmas without my Dad. People always say with time it will get better, but I have found for myself it gets harder. I believe I was in denial and reality hadn't set in for awhile. I still remember my first day at school after he passed away. The semester before I would come home on Tuesdays and Thursdays and we would go to lunch, since he wasn't working. I remember on the drive home thinking I'm going to ask Dad to go to lunch today, and I even walked in the door and looked at his empty chair and it still took me a few minutes to realize what I was doing. I still think of all the things he is missing, and I want him here for. I think him and Tyler would get along great, and have lots to talk about since they work at the coal mine =) He would be so proud of Brian for working so hard this summer, and of Dylan for playing Varsity soccer as a freshman @ WC like a pro...As I look into the future with only a year and half left of school I think about getting married and having a baby and I realize he won't be there, and how I know he wishes he could be. I know it will never get easier. He would be 50 in January and I know we would of all be celebrating.

The End of the Semester is always stressful..
This week I have realized how much I have left to do by the end of the semester. We will have Thanksgiving Break, dead week, then finals. By then I will have turned in two hallmark artifacts, a demonstration in assitive tech, a functional behavior assessment, teacher interview, and lots more exams. I like to take everything one day at a time, but the two hallmark artifacts need to be started soon. Luckily, two of my main teachers went to a conference this week so we have no classes tomorrow or Thursday. I'm going to be going to Lena Dunn to observe for my FBA...Im nervous I won't be able to get the information I need. Hopefully everything works out well with the student. Im planning on going to my good friend Lindseys sister for my classroom observation. Tyler is working nights this week and staying late to finish up and get overtime. He basically gets ready for bed, and I'm getting up to get ready for school. Today I drove home after my test to eat lunch with him and just relax before I drove back for my last two classes. We are looking forward to this weekend with eachother. He has Saturday and Sunday off, and no plans yet but we are trying to think of something to do.

I love Fall
October was a nice month to be outside. Mom, Katie, Dylan, Alexis and I were able to spend an afternoon at Lark Ranch. Alexis loved the train, slides, animals, and picking out her very own pumpkin. We even let her paint her pumpkins when we got home. My whole family came home and we all went to Gina and Brads Halloween Party. Jase and Alexis dressed up and we were able to get them to particpate in the "Haunted Forest." We went on the fastest hay ride I've ever been on..haha..My dads best friend was the driver and he tends to be a little "crazy." Overall it was a great time and we really enjoyed ourselves. I love anytime I get to spend with my family, especially Jase and Alexis. They defiently make me smile and laugh. Im excited to have my own in the next few years.
